We build packages of bespoke support options for North East schools to support children who are at risk of exclusion, who are facing social and emotional challenges, or who require additional academic support.

We invite interested schools to contact us to find out more, and to advise us of your needs so that we can design a bespoke support package to suit you.

Examples of additions to your support package include:

In-house tutoring
Our tutors will visit your school with a 'pop-up' classroom. You provide a quiet and safe learning space, we provide the assessment, teaching, resources, and social and emotional support. You will receive a report following each session.

In-centre tutoring
We offer half or full-day core subject learning for primary pupils at our Pegswood centre, including meals and social and emotional support. We offer weekly allocated maths and English teaching slots for secondary students within our Ashington centre. Students attend our programme in order to benefit from academic and therapeutic support as they build positive working relationships with their tutors.

Teacher training
Our qualified and experienced teachers can offer twilight training sessions designed to support staff towards understanding the perspective of the disengaged student.

Positive handling
We are able to offer Level 2 Positive Handling and short courses in Understanding and Dealing with Challenging Behaviour (trauma informed), and Adverse Childhood Experiences.

Exclusion Prevention Programme
Our Exclusion Prevention Programme is designed and managed by qualified and experienced teachers, SENCOs, and other educational professionals. The programme involves analysis and plan creation, as well as support for as long as needed.

Additional qualifications
We are able to tutor students towards Functional Skills and ASDAN Life Skills qualifications. The exams can be taken within our centre in Ashington.

Our goal is to avoid exclusion wherever possible.
